Discover the Taste events are available year round. Taste the best of the season in local produce, seafood and meats. Each event has its own particular flavour. We guarantee the best tastes possible, a very warm welcome and the opportunity to meet like minded people. Here are examples of what's on offer.

Tasting sessions

We team up with the finest restaurants and delis in the capital to give you the chance to taste the finest local produce, different cuisines or specialities. We include plenty of tastings and refreshments.

Meet the chef

Events start with a fascinating introduction from the chef or proprietor which could include their philosophy of cooking, how they developed their signature dish or how they source the ingredients. We then partake of a delicious meal.

Walking tours

Take part in one of our walking tours and discover in the space of a few hours superb food shops and delicatessens. Meet the enthusiastic people behind these fascinating places and taste the delights they have to offer.

Cookery demonstrations

Have you every wondered just how chocolates are made? How do you make pasta into those intricate shapes? Just what are all those strange vegetables in the Thai supermarket? Discover some secrets and sample plenty of finest quality food.
